The kids fish at the QianHu Fish Farm

We decided to the children to QianHu Fish Farm to fish today. Paid $10 for 2 nets & 2 small fish tanks. The kids are all excited and started scooping for fishes. Scoop for a while and was really tired as the net given was so small and flat that we could hardly catch any fishes. I called daddy for help, seemed so easy for Patrick. He managed to catch a few more before we leave.

Our Personal Steamboat

We had our very own 1st steamboat together as a family. Cosy! After which Pat, Shanice & I catch a movie (Red Cliff 2) together while Xavier & Shannon join my parents-in-law.

2nd Day - Gathering 6th Uncle's House

Finally, last station of the 1st day of Lunar New Year, My Mummy's House. My 3 kids stream in and pass the mandarin oranges to my dad and mum. My parents were so thrilled to see my children.

They have had a long long day so I hurried to bath them and freshen them up. We took so many pictures together. Aunty Susan & family came visiting in the evening. We snapped more....

Daddy distributes the Ang Bao to US!!!

It's the 1st day of Chinese New Year. Xavier was the 1st one to bath and change into the Traditional Chinese New Year clothes. The girls woke up one after the other and changed into theirs too. Theirs was a Vietnamese Style one. I bought all 3 of theirs from Chinatown.

The children got all ready, queue in the sequence youngest to the oldest and Patrick gave out the red packets to each of them after they say some greetings to us.(This is commonly practice among most Chinese Families) Xavier, Shanice & Shannon got so excited after receiving their 1st Ang Bao of the day.

Happy 7th Birthday to Xavier

Xavier is a Happy Boy today, because today he is officially a year older. He's seven. I got him to bath and change into this bright red clothes. He got a surprise when he saw the presents awaiting for him on his desk. To keep him in suspense I don't allow him to open up all his gifts yet.

We had steamboat for the celebration. Cake cutting after the dinner. Wow wee... All of us really fill our stomache to the maximum. Xavier chose his very own cake, a Yellow Sunshine Carebear in his Cowboy suit. Patrick also bought a no 7 candle to make it special for Xavier.

Unable to hold it till the end of the party, Xavier anxiously opened up all his presents from all of us. Look at what he'as got; a Blue Watch, Rubiks, Maths Assessment for 8-9, 3 Enid Blyton Storybooks, a Vtec Word & Logic Game & a Kids Bible (he's been asking for months). I wish you can see the expression on his face when he squeeled in delight opening up his gifts one by one.
